Drama practice today...

... sucked. We had to do Act 1 twice. During the first time, we got screwed 'cos we messed up. I don't know why this time the stuff were sooo confusing. It might look simple to other people, but it's really quite tough. There was the time factor and the 'crowded' factor. There were people(not only stage crew) losing their tempers, but mostly did not. It's these situations that show the true side of how a person really is. I managed to keep my cool and put on a 'normal' face. And some people were just PLAIN UNHELPFUL. If we mess up, we should work together to solve the problem, not point the finger of accusation at the person who did something wrong. Now I really know the REAL personality of these people. I'm not saying out any names or I might find some parangs flying after me. And that leak in the roof causing the water to drip onto the stage is really causing us problems. Well, at least the second time we did Act 1 was better. We managed to do everything correctly except for one thing. In one of the scenes, we accidentally swapped the positions of 2 flats(they were the background thingys) so it looked kinda weird. By the time we realised that the flats were in the wrong positions, the curtains were already opened. We could not run out and switch it 'cos that would be suicide. So we just hoped that the teacher would not realise it. We were discussing in a small group backstage about the flats. I said,"Let's just hope she does not notice it." Then, there was a reply behind me saying,"I hope so too." Guess who said that? Yep, you got it right. It was the DRAMA TEACHER. I did not realise that she was behind me... she walked silently and the door guy did not warn me that the teacher was there. I was like: When the heck did she get behind me?! And then after the practice, there was this session where the teacher gave the comments about the practice. She told everybody that was in the hall what happened backstage. Then the people who knew who she was talking about looked at me and LAUGHED. That was EMBARASSING. Today is just not my day.

Busy Day

Had a kinda busy day today. Just managed to squeeze in this post goin' ter sleep. Morning - Drama practice. The drama teacher said there were still many problems. Might have to do Act 1 twice on Tuesday. =( Act 2 has to be done twice on the next Saturday. Which is kind of a good thing 'cos I get to skip Mr. K's class. xD Went yumcha after the drama practice at Kopitiam. Chatted and stuff. Went to ma pop's office at 12.30 p.m. to get a ride home. Had a short nap after I reached home. Went to Lionel's after that. Ralph went to his tuition too. Yay, I got a friend there. =) After that, my friend fetched me from tuition 'cos both of us and another friend was goin' to Infinity. Lol, me and my friend pwned some heads there. Went for dinna with more friends after that, and we went to JJ to catch Harry Potter's movie after dinna. Since it was a Saturday night, JJ's parking lots were full. There were some desperate retarded people in the JJ basement carpark who parked almost in the middle of the road. So the car blocked half of the road. So we had to park opposite JJ, where the row of shops are. Now, onto the movie. The movie was kinda boring. It would be hard to understand the movie if you did not read the book. Well, it was, to me anyway. I only liked the effects during the 'magic fight' scene. I felt sleepy during the movie. Maybe it's 'cos of the movie or maybe I'm just tired. Oh well, whatever. I'm gonna go hit the sack now. Ciao.

Stomaches OVER!

Been feeling like crapppp these few days, can't eat much.. stomach feelin' uncomfortable 24 hours a day. But when I woke up today, all the pain and uncomfortable-ness was gone. Thank God man! I thought I was going to see the doctor again today, but there's no need for that now. =) Anyway, stage crew got screwed a bit today during drama practice. We were short of people 'cos a few people did not turn up, so we got the stuff done a bit slower. But overall it was enjoyable anyway. Hercules' costume/DRESS(yes, DRESS) looked a bit like a cheerleader's outfit. LOL!!! We all had a good laugh at him when he wore it today. Imagine a singlet and a skirt sewn together, green in colour and worn by a boy. He acted girlish when he wore that dress, and that made us laugh even harder. LOL. Anyway, surprisingly, Mr. K's class today was actually... quite good. He made us all laugh and there was no screwin' at all. I guess he was in a good mood. I hope he stays that way.

Diarrhoea fo' dinna.

These two days have been shit. Was not feelin' that well on Wednesday. Had an afternoon nap after school. Thought I was gonna feel better after the nap, but it turns out I felt worse. But I still went to tuition after taking Panadol(Panadol rocks my socks). After tuition, I felt really bad with a stomache bugging me. Since Thursday was Mr. Meor's retirement, I decided not to go to school 'cos I wasn't feeling that well and there won't be any teachers in the class most of the time(PONTENGGGGGGGGGG!). Felt like crap whole day. The doctor said my stomach infection or something. Eww. =/ Well, at least I'm feeling slightly better today. Took one more day off today(PONTENGGGGG LAGI!).

Drama Practice

First drama practice today, in school. I thought we(stage crew) were gonna get screwed, but luckily, we did not. We made a FEW mistakes though, but no screwing. =) It was kinda hot backstage, and we did not switch on the BIG FAN because we were scared that we were gonna get screwed because that fan makes noises(kinda loud) when it is switched on. But halfway through the practice, one of the guys switched on the fan 'cos it got too hot. And stuffy. Luckily(again), the teacher did not scold us. So we enjoyed the fan. Lol. Since there were no curtains, we could seen if we walked across the stage. Some of the guys simply walked past when the actors were acting. Damn 'selamba'. Lol. Anyway, it was quite fun. We got to chat while the actors were doin' their stuff. =P Went back home in the evenings, sweaty and hot(we offed the fan after a while). =.=

Transformers

Just had my hair cut yesterday. I think my hair was better before it was cut. Oh well, can't do anything about it. School's rules. Sucks. Anyway, Transformers in GSC in Parade today with Ralph and Nick(again). LOL. At first I thought it was kinda a kiddie show, but after watching it, it ain't so bad after all. I liked the effects. =) The audience clapped when the show was over. Got myself a new pair of black long pants in Sub today. I think it looks kinda good, with the black shirt I was wearing.
