Exhausted Mind

Just went to the Tun Abdul Razak library today with a bunch of classmates. Went there to find articles for our PA subject. The topic Mr. K and our class teacher gave us was sooooo hard to find. Searched almost all the magazines there but we couldn't find much of the stuff we needed. Saw Ralph's friend there too. ;) She and her friends were finding articles for Mr. K too. Haha... Went for lunch at Kopitiam. My friend asked me to stay back with him to do some studying in the library... I'm a good friend =P so I stayed back. Argh... did some mind-exhausting mathematic questions our tuition teacher gave us. Man, they were tough! Followed my pop's car home at 4.30 in the evening.

Teacher's Day

We celebrated Teacher's Day in my school today. It was fun, compared to normal BORING-24-HOUR-STUDY schoolin' days anyway.=.= Started off with speeches given by the teachers. I absorbed 0% of what they were trying to say. :) We had to sit on the basketball court. (Oh no my white pants!!) And there were also performances done by the Taekwondo Club, the Wushu Club, the Tamil Language Society and Dance and Aerobic Club(I hope I got the name right =P). The Taekwondo Club demonstrated their 'power' by breakin' pieces of wood. There were a few times they had to hit/kick the piece of wood twice to break it. Of course, when this happened, there were 'boos' from people like Kishen and the others. Me included. =P Then, the Tamil Language Society. Now this part is funny. This guy from the society was gonna sing a Tamil song. BUT, when the background music was played,(By the way, the speakers in my school SUCKS to the core. Really bad sound quality) the microphone stopped functionin'. ROFL! That poor guy was standing up on stage singing but we were unable to hear anythin' since we were soooo far away. After about 30 secs of 'singing', the guy gave up and tested whether the microphone was functionin' or not although we all know that it wasn't. And while all this was happenin', the background music was still playing. LOL! After the song came to and end, the mic was still not functionin' and the poor guy went off the stage. The whole thing was a failure. Yeah, now we move on to the Wushu Club. They were demonstratin' the 'kungfu moves' (I don't know what word to use) and the funny part was when Kishen kept makin' noises like 'Haayah!' when they kicked and punched and yellin' stuff like 'Wong Fei Hung'. When the guy wielding the sword came out to do his demonstration, Kishen shouted 'Oi, lu ambik tu potong ayam la!'. LOL! Next one was the Dance Club. There were girls and boys dancin' as well as breakdancin'. That one was worth watching. After that, there were games where a teacher and a student paired up to balance a ping pong ball on a spoon or something. Luckily, that time was recess time for Form 6 and Form 3. We avoided getting pulled out to get paired up with a teacher. =P After recess me and a bunch of friends 'lepak-ed' in the badminton court. We did not return to the basketball court cos' we don't wanna have the scorchin' hot sun beatin' down on our backs again. We crapped and messed around. Later, we entered the hall and sat there in front of the BIG stand fan. We were relaxin' ourselves when the discipline teacher came in and told us to get out because we weren't allowed to be in the hall. As if we did not know that! =P We rushed out back to the stuffy badminton court to avoid further screwin' from the discipline teacher. We went to the canteen and hanged around there till it was time to go back. It was a fun day compared to daily boring school days. Fun for teachers, fun for students. Although our 'fun' part wasn't exactly on the teachers' minds! =P Oh yeah, happy birthday to ma bro and dad! Although they never read this anyway, haha.

Just Another Day

Went to school, assembly. Nothing much to talk about here. Walked to our class...... and then only the monitor realised he lost the key to unlock the padlock on the class door. -_- Had to wait for our 'Hercules' to go and get a pair of gardening shears to cut the metal of the padlock. First subject: Maths. Boring! Felt like sleepin'. Next subject: Chemistry. Well, at least my chem teacher isn't as boring as my Form 4 and 5 chem teacher. =P Plus, she teaches kinda good too. I'm not saying that my previous chemistry teacher was not good, it's just that my current chemistry teacher is kinda good and NOT boring. After recess, Mr. K.(I'm only gonna give you his initial, people who know me know who I'm talking about =P) called the old michaelians to stay back. We all stayed back and wondered what he gotta say. Ended up getting scolded for no apparent reason. He said it's always the michaelians that create trouble in Form 6. He's scolding us BEFORE we created any trouble? Huh? Anyway, I got accepted into the school drama as a stage crew. All my friends are scared of the drama teacher because they say she scolds them and it's embarassing. LOL. Anyway, after that, PA subject. Nothing much to say. After PA was MUET. The teacher told us to find points about the topic she gave us. Each student got a different topic. Neat, huh? NOT. We can't share our points because the topics are different. =( And I gotta present the points in front of the class tomorrow. I guess I gotta crap alot. =P

Nuffin' Much?

Nothin' much happened today. Joined the Interact Club. Was tired after I came back from tuition which I attended right after school. Got to know my classmates better as there was an 'Ice-breaking session' in MUET today. Got PA tomorrow... ugh.... got a really strict teacher teachin' my class on that subject. =(

Orientation Week

Orientation Week

Last week was orientation week for lower sixth formers in my school. It was kinda fun, although there were some parts that were boring. We had to listen to the teachers givin' speeches about the rules of the school and such. Since I was an 'old Michaelian', it was sooooo boring listening to teachers telling me about stuff I knew five years ago. And they invited some professor from a university to give us a speech on.... stuff. Well, actually I only heard 50% of what he was tryin' to say because his voice was boring and monotonous. He kept dronin' and dronin' on about stuff in the university.... bla bla. I almost fell asleep during his speech. 1 word for it: boring. Okay, enough of the boring part.
The fun part was when the upper sixth formers took over when the teachers were not around. They organised games and activities for us to play. We got separated into a few groups to participate in the games. One of the games was 'postcard' where every group had to go onto the stage and act out a scene. My group decided to act that we were on the beach. My role was a customer buying hot dog from the hot dog seller, which was acted by my friend. Well, it was kinda lame compared to the other roles the other people my group did. One of them was acting like he was showing off his muscles to the girls. LOL. The thing I disliked was the chicken dance the sixth formers told us to do. Everybody had to act like chickens and flap around the hall. That was embarassing. Okay, this is starting to get long. That's all I'm gonna write fer now. See ya!
