We celebrated Teacher's Day in my school today. It was fun, compared to normal BORING-24-HOUR-STUDY schoolin' days anyway.=.= Started off with speeches given by the teachers. I absorbed 0% of what they were trying to say. :) We had to sit on the basketball court. (Oh no my white pants!!) And there were also performances done by the Taekwondo Club, the Wushu Club, the Tamil Language Society and Dance and Aerobic Club(I hope I got the name right =P). The Taekwondo Club demonstrated their 'power' by breakin' pieces of wood. There were a few times they had to hit/kick the piece of wood twice to break it. Of course, when this happened, there were 'boos' from people like Kishen and the others. Me included. =P Then, the Tamil Language Society. Now this part is funny. This guy from the society was gonna sing a Tamil song. BUT, when the background music was played,(By the way, the speakers in my school SUCKS to the core. Really bad sound quality) the microphone stopped functionin'. ROFL! That poor guy was standing up on stage singing but we were unable to hear anythin' since we were soooo far away. After about 30 secs of 'singing', the guy gave up and tested whether the microphone was functionin' or not although we all know that it wasn't. And while all this was happenin', the background music was still playing. LOL! After the song came to and end, the mic was still not functionin' and the poor guy went off the stage. The whole thing was a failure. Yeah, now we move on to the Wushu Club. They were demonstratin' the 'kungfu moves' (I don't know what word to use) and the funny part was when Kishen kept makin' noises like 'Haayah!' when they kicked and punched and yellin' stuff like 'Wong Fei Hung'. When the guy wielding the sword came out to do his demonstration, Kishen shouted 'Oi, lu ambik tu potong ayam la!'. LOL! Next one was the Dance Club. There were girls and boys dancin' as well as breakdancin'. That one was worth watching. After that, there were games where a teacher and a student paired up to balance a ping pong ball on a spoon or something. Luckily, that time was recess time for Form 6 and Form 3. We avoided getting pulled out to get paired up with a teacher. =P After recess me and a bunch of friends 'lepak-ed' in the badminton court. We did not return to the basketball court cos' we don't wanna have the scorchin' hot sun beatin' down on our backs again. We crapped and messed around. Later, we entered the hall and sat there in front of the BIG stand fan. We were relaxin' ourselves when the discipline teacher came in and told us to get out because we weren't allowed to be in the hall. As if we did not know that! =P We rushed out back to the stuffy badminton court to avoid further screwin' from the discipline teacher. We went to the canteen and hanged around there till it was time to go back. It was a fun day compared to daily boring school days. Fun for teachers, fun for students. Although our 'fun' part wasn't exactly on the teachers' minds! =P Oh yeah, happy birthday to ma bro and dad! Although they never read this anyway, haha.
