Orientation Week
Last week was orientation week for lower sixth formers in my school. It was kinda fun, although there were some parts that were boring. We had to listen to the teachers givin' speeches about the rules of the school and such. Since I was an 'old Michaelian', it was sooooo boring listening to teachers telling me about stuff I knew five years ago. And they invited some professor from a university to give us a speech on.... stuff. Well, actually I only heard 50% of what he was tryin' to say because his voice was boring and monotonous. He kept dronin' and dronin' on about stuff in the university.... bla bla. I almost fell asleep during his speech. 1 word for it: boring. Okay, enough of the boring part.
The fun part was when the upper sixth formers took over when the teachers were not around. They organised games and activities for us to play. We got separated into a few groups to participate in the games. One of the games was 'postcard' where every group had to go onto the stage and act out a scene. My group decided to act that we were on the beach. My role was a customer buying hot dog from the hot dog seller, which was acted by my friend. Well, it was kinda lame compared to the other roles the other people my group did. One of them was acting like he was showing off his muscles to the girls. LOL. The thing I disliked was the chicken dance the sixth formers told us to do. Everybody had to act like chickens and flap around the hall. That was embarassing. Okay, this is starting to get long. That's all I'm gonna write fer now. See ya!
