Second Day

Second Day.
We woke up at about 8 a.m. And it was still raining! =( I went down with Cheah Hui and we played at the arcade. Later, we 'tapao-ed' McD for breakfast and ate it in the room. After breakfast, the rain slowed down to a drizzle and we found out that the theme park was open! :D

We got the tickets and went inside.. only to find that MOST of the attractions were CLOSED due to the rain! Man, that sucked!!



The only attraction open worth riding was the Spinner.. I felt dizzy after getting spun around and around 8 feet off the ground-.- There was nothing else to ride on, so we went on some stupid kiddie ride. LOL

After that we went to Dinoland(not sure whether this is the correct name or not), took some pictures and walked around in it.

And so we walked around till 2 p.m... when the rain stopped. We got in line for the Corkscrew..



.. waiting for it to start, only to find that the ride had some problems and they need 30 minutes to repair it. Shit! All the other rides had already started operating.. I guess we queued up for the wrong one. =( We went for the Sungai Rejang Flume Ride, 'cos there were NO people queueing up for it. It's sorta like a water slide. It was the most exhilarating ride of all the rides I had in the theme park!

The boat had no seat belts or anything to stop you from flying outta it. So when the boat went down the slide, my butt was actually NOT touching the boat's seat. I had to hold on the metal bar and use my legs to stop myself from flying out of the boat. O_O It was fun! And I thought by sitting behind I won't get wet. I was wrong! By the end of the ride I was wetter than my friend! =.= And then after that we went for the roller coaster which passed over the place where they play bumper boats.. That one was fun, but not as exciting as the flume ride xD We went for the Flying Coaster after that.

It was fun too! And the starting part where we started to go down was a bit scary. Other than that, the other rides are more exciting. Maybe it's because I was safely tucked inside the thing I didn't feel that it was THAT scary. After that the guys went for the Corkscrew again. I didn't join them 'cos I was feeling dizzy X.x
By then, it was already 4 p.m. It was time for us to go back. So we 'tapao-ed' KFC to eat in the van. While going down the from the mountain, we ate KFC.. There were 7 people in the van. 6 of us were eating KFC while 1 was VOMITING.. He said he felt dizzy going down the mountain. I don't know how my friends managed to ENJOY their KFC while there was another guy vomiting right beside them. I wasn't affected by it 'cos I still had my nose blocked. So I couldn't smell anything xD.. We reached Ipoh at 8 p.m. and that's the end of our trip to Genting! =)

Trip to Genting!
First Day.
We met at Lai Lai's house at about 7 a.m. The van came to pick us up at about 7.15 a.m... At first, there was not much talking between us 'cos we're all feeling SLEEPY. For some unknown reasons, we didn't have much sleep the night before. =.= But somebody broke the ice and we all started our usual non-stop talking. xP



Well, here you can see my friends non-stop talking about.. er.. STUFF! The dude in the middle is still probably dreaming about his girl or something. xD So, the journey continued with us chit chatting, singing, crapping and whatever you think we can do in a van. One thing though, the air-cond was freakin' COLD!
We stopped at the foothill to eat.. and up the hill/mountain? we go! We got bored while going up the mountain.. so somebody whipped out a deck of cards and we started playing 'chor tai ti'! You are probably wondering how the heck we play 'chor tai ti' in a cramped van.. Well I don't know, so don't ask me. Haha.




And 1 more thing.. it was RAINING! =(



That can only mean that there will be no theme park-ing for that day. =( The place was misty when we reached the top..



Since there was nothing to do due to the rain, we went to the ARCADE! There was one bugged Street Fighter machine that still let us play although my friend's card ran out of credit. So we all took turns to play it till everybody got enough of it. Free game xD

After the arcade we checked into our room.. Everybody jumped onto the beds and started to make ourselves comfortable.

And so, with nothing to do(again), the 'chor tai ti' continues!! :D



At about 4 p.m., everybody got bored and we had a nap.. But there was one problem.. How can we sleep when all of us, in one room, are crappers?! We all tried to sleep but everytime somebody would say something funny/stupid and we would all laugh like crap.. We only got settled down and started to fall into sleep by 5!

After sleeping till 6, we took turns to take our bath. And after bathing, the guys did what guys do.



STYLE their hair!! Look at vain people styling their hair in front of the mirror.. LOL! After.. erm.. 20 minutes?.. of styling their hair, we went down for dinner.


What to eat?
After dinner, we went to get the tickets to SnowWorld. While waiting for the next round of SnowWorld to start, we went shooting somewhere on the top floor. Fake guns, of course, but they looked real and were kinda heavy. I managed to hit the bullseye! xD After that, SnowWorld!! Sorry, but there are no pictures of SnowWorld 'cos cameras/handphones weren't allowed inside. But, we had tons of fun in it! xD I went in there and looked around, and 3 seconds later, I got hit by snow thrown by Lai Lai -.- I had my revenge later xD And then we went to ride the snow slide in there.. it was a very bumpy ride -.- My butt hurts =( After that, we teamed up and.. GANGBANG Jun Lum!! Haha, us 5 guys kept throwing snow at him.. poor guy got snow all over his face and hair xP I threw a snowball at him and started to run out of the entrance to SnowWorld.. but as I reached the doors, a girl who was standing near me ducked and avoided a snowball which was thrown by her friend. And the snowball hit me-.- Argh.. I guess this was payback for gangbanging Jun Lum. Haha.
After that, we went back to the hotel to have a quick bath. Those guys wasted the 20 minutes of hair-styling.. 'cos after bathing their hair returned to normal. Haha. After that, we went to watch the movie Golden Compass at 11.15 p.m. The show was kinda good. After the show, we went back to our room and played Black Jack. My friends bought 4 cans of Tiger Beer and 4 bottles of 'fruit wine'.



And I noticed this on the room door :

And we played Black Jack till 4 a.m... And that's the end of the first day! =)

My Birthday!

Today's post is about..

My Birthday!! Well, frankly speaking, it was the most boring birthday in the 17 years of my life-.- .. Because I was sick!! I couldn't go out with my friends.. although some of them asked me to go out to celebrate my birthday, I had to turn them down. So I had to stay at home the whole day! With nothing to do, I watched 'Secret', which was directed by Jay Chou.
I went for Mr. K's tuition at night.. that's where I really gotta thank my friends for cheering me up. They decided to celebrate my birthday with me at the tuition centre :D One of them, Yee Kheng, even brought a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday. I shook the bottle up and I wanted to aim the cork at Yee Kheng's car xD But I was afraid he was gonna kill me so I aimed it at the field instead. :P It was my first time opening a champagne bottle.. Thanks man! And this is the t-shirt Daniel gave me as my birthday present.. I gotta thank him too. :)And of course, with every birthday boy, there's always a birthday Rumble!! Alright, now is the time to introduce the culture/tradition of St. Michael's which has been passed on from generation to generation. To every birthday guy in St. Michael's, it is compulsory to be birthday rumbled. It starts with a bunch of your friends surrounding the birthday guy in a circle where they hold him tight so he can't get away. Then, they start to sing the birthday song.. at by the end of it, they will all hit the poor guy with their hands/slippers?/anything as hard as they can!! And by the end of the ordeal, the birthday guy will suffer huge amounts of pain and might even have an injury(Okay, I'm just exaggerating on that injury part). Well, if you really do get an injury, sorry lah, no money pay medical bills for you. Or they could say, 'Hospital Fatimah very close only, you can crawl/limp there.' xD
Notice the guy in the middle getting whacked up? Yep, that's me. I got rumbled a grand total of 7 times, including the preliminary rumbles in November and the warm-up rumble before tuition started.. It was considered a very mild rumble, because there were not many people there.. if my birthday was celebrated before the holidays in school, it could be a disaster!! My friend who celebrated his birthday in school got rumbled till his hand shook so much it was difficult for him to even cut the birthday cake!
This is another guy who got rumbled along with me for no apparent reason.. When they get into a rumbling mood, it's kinda hard to stop them from rumbling anybody they want. xD

It's time to introduce..



.. My Fuu-Yoh! team members!! :DD I met my group in the Interact Conference.. and I'm proud to say that our group was the most happening, craziest, loudest and siao-est group there!! Woo-Hoo! :P I'm so happy that I met them, 'cos I made new friends! =)

Okay, the first guy to be introduced must of course be..


Our GDL, Jitco!!
He's our Group Discussion Leader(GDL), and he's from the Rotaract Club of Pudu. He's a funny guy and helped us out a lot during our discussion! He's always ready for new and promising ideas.. He's a siao/funny guy himself, so he mixed right into the group :D And he likes to yumcha.. well who doesn't? ;)


Kelvin!
He was our substitute GDL on the first day, 'cos Jitco wasn't there yet. Randy calls him Ah Pek. xD He's a really funny guy.. When he met our group he told us to introduce ourselves to each other.. but we told him we already did that, 'cos once we met each other we started to introduce ourselves to each other already. Then he told us to choose a leader in our group, which we ALREADY did too! So, he said he had nothing left to do.. so we told him that he's fired!! :D He likes to 'flirt' with another Rotaractor called Jacqueline or something.. So we said he curang-ed!! xP


Dheepan..
.. a.k.a. Mr Tall!! He's a really freakin' tall guy for his age. He's only 15 years old yet he looks like an 18-year-old. He's our group leader.. 'cos he was an extremely friendly guy with the ability to crap non-stop.. just like some of my friends xD He was also full with ideas too for our sketch =) He's one GREAT guy!


Randy..
.. a.k.a. Britney!! That name was given to him 'cos he played the role of Britney Spears during the sketch! And yes, he's a guy xD He had to wear a skirt and put makeup on his face to look like a girl :P He's another crazy guy.. with witty comebacks and he can do pole dancing too!! :P He did some pole dancing using a non-existing pole on stage! LOL


Stitch and Ai Yin!
Stitch's real name is Wen Lynn. She was nicknamed Stitch due to the Stitch shirt she wore on the first day and because she likes Stitch very much! She's a very friendly person and talked a lot in our group. She was also full of ideas for our discussion.. Besides that, she's a crazy person too, just like the rest of the Fuu-Yoh! group :D
Ai Yin was nicknamed Moo Girl, 'cos she taught us how to do the Moo handshake.. LOL. She's extremely and friendly.. and she was also one of the people who gave the most ideas during the discussion.. She's really crazy too, on the first day, we played Truth or Dare, she got chosen and she chose Dare. So we dared her to go up on the stage and say something about our group. She really went up and stage and said Fuu-Yoh! rocks!! Wow, I wouldn't have dared to do that =X



Eng Wei/WeiWei a.k.a. Miss Clumsy! She said she was nicknamed that by her friends 'cos she couldn't catch the things her friends threw at her :P She's from KL and she's a super fan of Jay Chou! Haha.. She's a really friendly person, besides being cute :P She plays the role of an air stewardess in the sketch =)


Emily!
She's a really friendly and sporting girl.. and she always argues with Randy.. I don't know why don't ask me xD



He's Motha, and we called him botak, 'cos he kinda pronounced his name to sound like botak when he introduced himself xD He played the role of Timbaland in the sketch. *Plays Apologise in the background* Most of the groupmates don't know him well, but he's really a funny guy once you get to know him better.


May!
She's a friendly person.. and she's Korean! She's from an international school in KL.. and I didn't know that she was the president of her Interact Club till she gave me her name card! xD



This is Hsu Huei! Nicknamed her co-pilot girl 'cos she's the co-pilot for the sketch! She's in Lower Six, which is the same as me. She's a really friendly person. =)



I guess you all know Eng Wei and Stitch already, so the girl in the middle is Suet Hung! She likes pink stuff xD and she's a very friendly person as well.
[Wow! I just realised I used the word friendly many times already.. I guess it's 'cos all of my groupmates are really friendly! xD]



Rainney! She was the first person I introduced myself to 'cos she was standing beside me when we were grouped together on the first day. She's kinda shy. xD She lent me her Fu-Yoh! t-shirt for the sketch :P It was to promote our group name. The shirt was kinda tight but Ai Yin said I looked sexy in it. LOL



The girl on the left is Jewel! She came on the second day. She's kinda shy at first but became friendly as we introduced ourselves to her. =)



Well, I didn't really get to know the girl on the left =( The girl on the right is Kausy, and she's from Ipoh too! =) She's friendly and she told me that her brother is in Lower Six and studies in the same school as me :D



Well I don't have a picture of him with me so I'll have to use this group photo xD. The guy on my left is Vel! Do not let his serious face deceive you. He's a friendly guy although he looks serious. :P

And so that's Group 10 - Fuu-Yoh! I gotta thank these guys/girls for making this conference so enjoyable with their friendliness and craziness. You guys rock! And a special thanks to Stitch for letting me use some of her photos to put here.

Interact Conference 2007

It's been a LOOOOOOOOOOONGGGGG time since I posted something here. Sorry, but I'm lazy :D Okay, I just got back from the District 3300 Interact Conference.. feelin' tired but I think I'll finish this post before I hit the sack. Well..

Team Fuu-Yoh!

THE CONFERENCE WAS A BLAST! It was a very enjoyable and memorable experience for me.. And it's all thanks to the wonderful group I was assigned to! Our group, Fuu-Yoh! was basically the noisiest and siao-est team among all the 24 groups there :D Our GDL(Group Discussion Leader), Jitco, was quite a funny guy. He was very helpful in making us work as a team and gave us ideas about the topic that we were given, which was to raise funds for an old folk's home using a small budget. I learned many many many stuffs from the Rotaractors, Rotarians, CEOs :P and last but not least, the Interactors there.

I had loads of fun from the games that were played such as follow the leader, etc. Doing the sketch was fun too, and it was all about teamwork. Too bad our group did not win. But we did our best and that is all that matters. =) The only things that I don't miss is the food and bathing in COLD water at 5 something in the morning. :P

Lastly, I would like to thank -

Ai Yin, Dheepan, Emily, Eng Wei, Hsu, Jewel, Jitco, May Lee, Motha, Randy, Rainney, Stitch, Suet Hung, Vel and the rest of the Fuu-Yoh! team
